A company spokesman told the Denver Post that Coors brewers scraped the ice from Ball Arena early in the Stanley Cup Finals, "so Coors Light Champions Ice is made with ice where the Avalanche won." Though, of course, the Avalanche clinched the series over the Lightning Sunday night in Tampa.
"Coors Light was born in the Rockies and we are an official partner of the Colorado Avalanche," a Coors spokesman told The Denver Post. "And since we're really good at making ice-cold beer, we tapped our brewers to craft Coors Light made with the actual ice the hockey final was played on."
Brewed with Bo is finally here! Coors Light is partnering with Bowen Byram of the Colorado Avalanche to brew a specialty batch of Coors Light. American Amber Ale is a type of American craft beer that is characterized by its amber color and moderate to strong hop flavor and aroma. It is made with pale and crystal malt, which gives it its amber color, and is typically brewed with American hops, which contribute to its citrus and pine-like flavors. The style originated in the 1980s and has become popular among craft breweries in the United States. American Amber Ales are known for their balance between the malt and hop flavors, with neither overpowering the other. They typically have a medium to high level of bitterness and an alcohol content of 4.5-6.2% ABV. They are often enjoyed with a variety of foods, including burgers, pizza, and barbecue, and can be served either chilled or at cellar temperature.
