I recently bought a new laptop to replace my old desktop with which I had Outlook and Windows 10 installed. I had previously been using Thunderbird but was told that it was no longer working to use it due to problems that users had installing. I used to use a combo of Outlook and Thunderbird so needed to keep using Outlook if possible. I was able to get Thunderbird working but it could not find my old Outlook data.
I'm new to this forum, and I'm hoping some of you can help me. I have a question. I have an old email account that I used to use for back up purposes ( Hotmail I believe) because I had an old Windows license for my Windows OS. I was using the account to back up my system. I have a new PC that I'm trying to get used to calling home. I like to keep my documents on my flash drive so that I have them with me all the time. I have a notebook that has all my important files on my flash drive. When I finished using the flash drive, I erased it and then made a new flash drive. It cleaned out the folder of all my files but it did not wipe out the back up files from my Hotmail. So I followed the instructions on the link you sent me below for downloading and installing. I put the new flash drive in my new laptop and loaded Outlook. I did not have a Windows 10 OS on it because it was just a basic edition with a Windows 7 OS. I loaded up my old account, and it said that it couldn't find the email accounts or some other accounts. Is there something I can do to get my back up account to see the new flash drive that I put into it? I'm trying to make my life simpler and I believe this can help. Thanks for any help you can provide me! d2c66b5586
