One of the main reasons why we made this script was to speed up the use of the lock down feature. We found that it gets rather tedious to manually place keyframes for everything. You are able to externalize your points when you track, and we do this by default. Make sure to always set the keyframes to inside. It is NOT GOOD to have track points which exist completely outside the projection - Lockdown will complain.
Once you have your tracking points all moved to the inside, you have the ability to set keyframes in the After Effects graph editor for the externalized points, on any parameter you want! The reason we make these points internalized, so quickly, is to make certain that you don't make any mistakes with your tracking timeline. Use this feature sparingly. Also, you can use this script to see what your tracking looks like from the inside. Use the script and set the keyframes from inside your Lockdown comp. Now see what's going on so far, and make sure it's tracking how you expect.Border Screenshot#1. Locate the Lockdown "Window" window in this screenshot. It's a preview window. #2. Turn on "Add Keyframes" in the Lockdown window.#3. Now add your keyframes. This will make sure you're track to start at 500, and you get the full graph editor. You can see the keyframes by clicking the border at the bottom.Enable Externalized PointsThis option gives you the option of making 4 visible spots on your tracked comp. You can position them anywhere, as long as it's inside a Lockdown comp, however they must be set to N in order to see them. You can also switch after importing, and before editing, from Internalized to Externalized Points.Seamless FeatureThis allows you to add keyframes on the middle of the comp, and it will be treated as if you've added it where it should be beforehand. This is in 'CTL+Shift+A' mode, which means you can edit as if you've added keyframes as far back as you originally added. This can be somewhat useful if you want to do pre-visualizing on your tracked comps or draw guides back into the comp. d2c66b5586
